After earning a degree in history from Louisiana State University, Joe worked in banking for many years, helping clients make investments in their future. Understanding that home ownership is often the largest single investment made in one’s lifetime, Joe’s passion gravitated towards real estate. After leaving banking, he joined a private equity firm that concentrated on revitalizing under-performing real estate assets; after Joe
completed the private equity raising of funds, his boss paid for him to get his real estate license because he recognized Joe’s intense passion for it.

Today, Joe and Brett Blanchard operate as a real estate team, and together, they specialize in working with contractors, investors looking to deepen their portfolios, and first-time homebuyers. They offer a full suite of services, including interior design work for new construction and renovations, as well as contracting services for residential and commercial construction. Known as determined, compassionate, and knowledgeable, Joe’s clients laud him for being transparent throughout the entire process, taking the time to educate them, and making sure they’re comfortable with all the details.

After years of working in real estate, Brett and Joe started to purchase lots and invest in new construction. With a keen eye for detail, both Brett and Joe worked diligently to understand all aspects of the construction process. After building a reliable rolodex of sub contractors and tradesmen, the team decided to add construction to their list of services. In 2022, Brett and Joe reached out to their dear friend Jared Watson to start NOLA Construction Guys. With years of experience as a top architect in the city of New Orleans and in client design build services, Jared was the obvious choice. Together,
